Terms & Event Participation Waiver
Effective Date: October 2026 • Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club (HBFC), Calabar, Nigeria.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club (HBFC) website, registering for the Calabar Walkathon, participating in the Obudu Mountain Resort Expedition, or attending club aerobic training drills, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Health, Fitness & Physical Activity Waiver
Participation in aerobic exercises, 15KM road walkathons, high-altitude mountain trekking, and physical fitness conditioning involves inherent physical demands. You certify that you are medically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in club activities.
HBFC provides volunteer medical standby and first-aid support during major events; however, participants assume voluntary responsibility for their personal health and safety. You release HBFC, its board of trustees, officers, and event partners from claims resulting from pre-existing conditions or failure to observe race marshal instructions.
3. Membership Protocol
Executive club membership in HBFC is by executive sponsorship, screening, and formal invitation. Submission of an inquiry or volunteer application does not automatically confer voting rights, official executive club status, or regalia entitlements until ratified by the Executive Board.
4. Media & Photography Release
By attending public club walks, expeditions, and community outreaches, you consent to being photographed and recorded on video for HBFC’s official visual archives, newsletters, documentary reels, and promotional platforms promoting healthy living in Cross River State and Nigeria.
5. Intellectual Property
The Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club name, emblem crest, official motto (“Health is Wealth”), Calabar Walkathon brand, and official media archives are the exclusive intellectual property of HBFC and may not be used for unauthorized commercial gain without written authorization.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cross River State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
